January Round Up
NEW MONTHLY ROUND UP
Today we launch our every first ‘Monthly Round Up’.
Every month we will write up some of the highlights, updates and announcements from the previous month.
January Round Up
We launched our new Bath website this month. The site has a lot more functionality, allowing us to communicate with you better and also get more feedback from you all.
If you haven’t already seen, there are FREE Ebooks on Nutrition, Mobility and Gaining Strength.
The new site also has the functionality to refer your friends to join in the CrossFit fun.
If you nominate a friend to join and they sign up, you’ll both receive £50 in credit off your membership.
Keep an eye out in your email inbox for training, nutrition and lifestyle tips.
New Refurb and Premises Update
You may have noticed the gym’s feng shui has changed and more recently a new lick of paint at the Bath location. A big thank you to Becky Crosby Ward for doing such an amazing job.
Our landlords planning permission was refused and therefore we have been offered an extension on our current lease. We are still on the lookout for new premises and are exploring a few possibilities, but in the meantime we think, and we know you’ll agree, that it was important we injected a bit of love back into the facility.
We hope you like the new look and feel.
Welcome to the Community
A big welcome to new members
Webster, Ben, James, Lucy, Megan, Matt and Rebecca.

We launched Saturday Classes in Bath and Trowbridge and also Sunday Classes in Bath.
These classes have proved really popular and there’s an awesome vibe at on the weekends currently!
We alos launch some ‘Extras’ training for those looking to practice a little more of the technical elements of CrossFit.
It’s Raining Babies
It been a month to celebrate future CrossFit Games champions.
Congratulation to members Sian and Ed and the arrival of their little boy Rex.
Jamie Mines Fund Raiser
Shacks and the boys from CrossFit Civitas organised a charity work out to help support ex-team mate Jamie Mines who was tragically injured while at work.
Welcome to the Team
We welcome 2 new coaches to the team. Nat Auckland and Evie Longshaw.
Evie, who has been helping out on our Intro Course will now be running Sundays. Evie is training to be a Physiotherapist and brings with her a positive, friendly personality, which will be invaluable when you’re hung over on a Sunday.
Wodify at The Bridge
We are almost ready to launch our new membership system in Trowbridge. The new system will allow the members to update their workouts, track progress and also compare times. We’ll also be able to track attendants so if you don’t show for a couple of weeks I’ll be on the blower finding out why?
Finally, it’s that time of year again. The Open is a 5 week online competition for people of all abilities. We want to try and get as many people involved this year!!
For more info read Shack’s post earlier this week.
That’s a wrap, have a great month of training gang!
