adam@crossfitbath.com 07825 337397Adam is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 1 CrossFit strength and conditioning coach. He has been working in the Fitness industry since 2005 and is also a keen sportsman.
I started CrossFit in 2006 and instantly got hooked to the variety and intensity of the workouts. Finding CrossFit was a real light bulb moment for me, and definitely made me think about the “functional exercises” so common in most commercial gyms.
I am fascinated with human performance, and I dont believe we evolved standing on ‘vibro plates’ or sitting on ‘gym balls.’ I believe in real life fitness, making people stronger, fitter and faster and I put my heart and soul into the people I train and enjoy seeing what I do, transform their fitness and overall sense of well-being.”

Our facilities
TopCrossFit Bath has all the kit an athlete needs to enhance peak performance, such as olympic bars, gymnastic rings, med ball, kettlebells, concept 2 rowers, the list goes on. However you won't find any X-Trainers, leg extension or lat pull-down machines here, unfortunately our training is not easy, we wish it was, but in order to progress and reach your potential you will need to get out of your comfort zone once or twice!
In life you never get something for nothing, and getting results in the gym is no different!
Our training structure
TopWhat we do
At CrossFit we base our strength and conditioning programme around improving the 10 Physical components of fitness:
How we do it
We use a mixture of true functional exercises such as:
CrossFit in 100 Words
TopEat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar! Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.
Practice and train major lifts: Deadlifts, Clean, Squat, Presses, C&J and Snatch. Similarly master the basics of gymnastics: Pull-Ups, Dips, Rope climb, Push ups, Sit ups, Presses to handstand, Pirourettes, Flips, Splits and holds. Bike, Run, Swim, Row etc, hard and fast!!!
Five or six days a week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense
Regularly learn and play new sports!!
