What is CrossFit?

At CrossFit Bath we believe that training should prepare you for the challenges that life throws at you, the unknown and the unknowable. We offer a varied programme that will increase work capacity (Fitness) across broad time and modal domains. Our programme is used by elite athletes and special forces, to those who just want more energy and strength to make life easier.

We recognise that the needs of an 80 year old Grandparent, Firefighter and professional Athlete will differ by degree and not kind. We scale the programme to suit YOU! We will train you in the major lifts, Olympic and power lifting, kettlebell training, gymnastics, running and rowing. We are a results based gym, that prides itself in having a community of people unlike any gym you have ever been to. CrossFitters are interested in one thing - Results!! Guys dont forget the social at the Royal Oak Pub in Widcombe tomorrow night. We would love to see as many of you there as possible to send off our old box in style and look forward to a new bigger, better CrossFit Bath. the bash will start at 5pm - Look forward to seeing you all!!

Wednesday 25th August

As some of you may have seen on the board in the gym, there is a team competetion at CrossFit Velocity on October 23rd. We have had great feedback from you all and we need to start signing people up asap to ensure we get in. Its £50 a team (£12.50 per person) so if you 100% want to do it can you bring the money to the gym and we will start getting teams signed up. This is going to be an epic event, and with the standard of you guys we have a real chance of doing well.

On Saturday 23rd October CrossFit Velocity will be holding an affiliate cup competition. It will be a team competiton in groups of 4 (at least one girl needed per team) We would love to enter as many teams as possible so if you guys are interested, please check out the link and speak to the trainers for more details.
